Usage & Pricing for Cron Jobs

Cron jobs are available on all Epycbyte plans, offering flexible scheduling options to suit different needs. Below is a detailed overview of the usage and pricing details for cron jobs.

Table of Contents

Cron Jobs Overview

Cron jobs can be triggered by Serverless or Edge functions, meaning the same usage and pricing limits apply to both.

Number of cron jobs per account

  • Hobby plan: 2 cron jobs
  • Pro plan: 40 cron jobs
  • Enterprise plan: 100 cron jobs

Each project has a hard limit of 20 cron jobs per project.

Hobby Scheduling Limits

On the Hobby plan, Epycbyte cannot guarantee timely cron job invocations. For example:

  • A cron job configured as 0 1 * * * (every day at 1 am) will trigger anywhere between 1:00 am and 1:59 am.
  • More specific execution times may require upgrading to the Pro plan.

Pro and Enterprise Plans

  • Pro plan: Unlimited cron invocations
  • Enterprise plan: Unlimited cron invocations

Pricing Details

Cron jobs are included in all plans. However, using a function to invoke a cron job means that usage and pricing limits for these functions apply to all cron job executions.
