Epycbyte provides a secure authentication method called Sign in with Epycbyte. This feature allows third-party applications to integrate with the Epycbyte ecosystem, enabling users to log in using their existing Epycbyte account without creating new credentials.

• Protocol: Based on OAuth 2.0, ensuring secure and efficient authentication.
• Availability: Currently limited to the Epycbyte Community platform.

How to Sign In with Epycbyte

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Initiate Login Flow

   • Attempt to log in to Epycbyte Community for the first time.

2. Authorize Application

   • After signing in, you'll be prompted to authorize the third-party application.
   • Shared Information: Epycbyte username, email address, and first & last name are provided for authorization.

3. Redirect to Third-Party App

   • Upon successful authorization, you're redirected back to the third-party application.

4. View Application in Dashboard

   • To access the application in your dashboard:
     1. Click your avatar at the top right.
     2. Navigate to Account Settings > Sign in with Epycbyte.
     3. View the third-party application here.

5. Revoke Application Access

   • To remove access:
     1. Select your avatar and go to Account Settings.
     2. In the Sign in with Epycbyte section, click "Remove" next to the app.
     3. Note: You remain logged into the third-party app until you log out.
